Connecting to the ZKcandy Mainnet

The ZKcandy Mainnet is here! We’re excited to begin the next chapter of our journey. In this article we’ll show you how to join us on our Mainnet by showing the configuration details for the Zkcandy Mainnet and how to add it to everyone’s favourite browser wallet, Metamask.

Step 1: Launch Your Wallet

For our tutorial, we’ll use Metamask as our wallet. If you haven’t installed Metamask yet, you can easily add it to your browser from the official Metamask website.

Step 2: Connect to the ZKcandy Mainnet

You have 3 options to connect to the ZKcandy Mainnet:

Option 1: One-click connection (Recommended)

1. Use the button below to quickly add the ZKcandy Mainnet to your injected wallet.
2. This button should work with most browser-based wallets such as Metamask.
3. You may be prompted to allow a wallet connection when you click the button.

Option 2: Via The ZKcandy Bridge Site

1. Visit https://bridge.zkcandy.io/
2. Click on the “connect to ZKcandy Mainnet” button at the bottom left corner.

Option 3: Adding the ZKcandy Public Mainnet Manually

1.Add the ZKcandy Mainnet:

In the Metamask interface, click on the network selection dropdown at the top of the wallet. It typically shows the Ethereum Mainnet by default.

From the dropdown menu, select ‘Add Network’ to add a new network, and on the next screen choose “add network manually”.

2. Enter Network Details:

You’ll now see a form titled ‘Custom RPC’ settings. Enter the following details into the respective fields:

• Network Name: ZKcandy Mainnet
• New RPC URL: https://rpc.zkcandy.io/
• Chain ID: 320
• Currency Symbol (optional): ETH
• Block Explorer URL (optional): https://explorer.zkcandy.io/

3. Save and Select the ZKcandy Mainnet:

After entering the details, click ‘Save’. The ZKcandy mainnet should now be added to your list of available networks. Go back to the network selection dropdown and select ZKcandy Mainnet.

Step 3: Bridge Ether from the Ethereum Mainnet

After connecting to the ZKcandy Mainnet, you’ll need Ether (ETH) to transact.

Our official bridge at https://bridge.zkcandy.io will allow you to transfer Ether from the Ethereum Mainnet to the ZKcandy Mainnet. Bridging is usually instant but, in rare cases, may take a few minutes. Make sure that you set an appropriate gas price when transacting on the Ethereum Mainnet to avoid delays.

Step 4: Explore the ZKcandy Mainnet
